Having spent decades searching for her identity, she brings raw honesty, hope, and wisdom to the stage — sharing powerful insights on belonging and self-discovery.


Dr Maddy McAllister
Maddy is one of Australia’s leading maritime archaeologists and Senior Curator of Maritime Archaeology at the Queensland Museum and Senior Lecturer at James Cook University. Known as the @shipwreckmermaid, she dives on shipwrecks across the country using technology and digital tools that help to identify mystery shipwrecks and bring underwater heritage to the public. Her work connects science, history, and culture in a way few others can.
James Norton & Cassie Power
Cassie and James are raconteurs, nomads, and passionate advocates for alternative ways of living. With backgrounds in psychology, visual storytelling, and adventure, they combine heart and humour to challenge conventional thinking. Their life together has given them unique perspectives on freedom, home, and resilience.


Tara Kozuh
Tara Kozuh has lived her whole life bridging two worlds as a Child of Deaf Adults (CODA). An advocate, educator, and entrepreneur, she is the founder of Tiny Hands Signs, a program bringing Auslan into early learning and now expanding into corporate workplaces to foster inclusive communication. Soon to be a children’s book author, Tara combines creativity and advocacy to inspire connection across communities. With empathy, vision, and lived experience, she is passionate about reshaping how society understands language, culture, and inclusion.
Natalie McGrath
Natalie is a naturopath and functional medicine practitioner with over 20 years of clinical experience in Perth. With qualifications in naturopathy, environmental biology, and microbiome science, she’s passionate about helping people protect their health in practical, evidence-based ways. Her deep expertise brings a fresh lens to wellness and the hidden ecosystems inside us.


Shanelle Franklin
Shanelle is an award-winning comedian, broadcaster, podcaster, and MC who has worked with major brands and media outlets across Australia. Olivia Davies
Olivia is a Perth-born composer and artist who blends tradition and experimentation in her work. Will food and drinks be provided?
Each ticket includes a lunch pack with seasonal fruit and a bottle of water, as well as afternoon refreshment.
Can I buy a ticket at the event?
Yes! However, tickets could sell out before the day of the event. We strongly recommend securing your ticket as soon as possible to avoid disappointment. Please purchase your ticket through official channels only.
Where can I park on the day?
Street parking is limited. However, paid undercover parking is available at His Majesty’s Car Park (entry from Murray Street) and the Atrium Car Park (entry from King Street, one-way northbound).
Can I get to the venue on public transport?
Absolutely! The theatre is a five-minute walk from Perth Underground train station. And the free red CAT bus stops at His Majesty’s. See Transperth for timetables and real-time information for trains and buses, including CAT buses.
